A única coisa que não é da minha autoria é a música. As peças sonoras são de Kevin MacLeod.

After putting the cover design for "Angel Gabriel - Blood Bound" to a vote, this was the winner for the Portuguese edition.
The English edition will have  different cover, but since the novel will be published later, the cover will also be done later. Luckily, though it won't be long. I'll have news soon. Promisse!

ScriptFrenzy 2012

Mais um mês de Abril se aproxima e com ele chega o desafio anual ScriptFrenzy que, para quem não sabe, consiste em escrever um guião (Filme, Série, Teatro, Radionovela, BD, etc.) de 100 páginas em 30 dias.
Já participo desde 2009 mas como Abril é sempre um mês difícil para mim até hoje ainda não saí vitoriosa do desafio.

E que guião vou escrever?
Tal como nos anos anteriores vou escrever um guião de Banda Desenhada / Novela Gráfica. O projecto deste ano tem o nome de “Lobo & Dragão” e é das minhas ideias mais antigas. Já chegou a ter três versão BD mas todas morreram precocemente quando percebi que não estava a seguir o rumo certo com a história. No ano passado (2011), durante o 24 Hour Comics (15 de Outubro) desenhei uma história que é a prequela para a trama central, que pretendo então escrever neste Abril (pelo menos em grande parte, já que pelos meus cálculos 100 páginas não chegarão para deslindar toda a história).

Sinopse: Rie e Unkei são dois jovens nascidos de famílias rivais. Enquanto a família Ryusaki já esqueceu o passado, os Ookami continuam a guardar rancor e Rie foi ensinada desde muito nova a odiar Unkei. O seu ódio no entanto, foi canalizado para o combate e a competição em geral. Não raras vezes os dois entram em confrontos e o culminar dá-se numa competição anual no campeonato de Artes Marcias, do qual Rie saiu vencedora no ano anterior.
Mais uma vez o campeonato aproxima-se e Rie mal pode esperar para vencer novamente. No entanto uma cadeia de eventos vai mudar a forma como ela vê e interage com todos à sua volta.
Quando as consequências dos seus actos batem à porta, Rie pode não está preparada para elas.

Entre eles estarão os romances “Angel Gabriel ~ Pacto de Sangue“, “Alma“, “V.I.D.A.“, “Através do Vidro“, “Dragões e seus Sacrifícios” assim como as BDs “Que sorte a Minha” e “Lobo & Dragão“.

Another April is coming, and with it the ScriptFrenzy challenge which, for those who don’t know, consists in writing a script (Movie, TV Series, Theatre, Comic, etc.) in 100 pages in 30 days time.
I’ve been doing ScriptFrenzy since 2009 but since April is always a harsh month for me, I have yet to come out of it victorious.

And what script will I write?
As in previous years I’ll write a Comic/Graphic Novel script. This year’s project is “Wolf & Dragon” one of my oldest story ideas. It had three comic versions but they all ended early as soon as I realized the story wasn’t working out. Last year (2011), during  24 Hour Comics (October 15th)  I drew a story that is the prequel for what I intend to do this April (or at least, for the most part, considering I doubt 100 pages will be enough to tell this story).

Sinopsis: Rie Ookami and Unkei Ryusaki are two teenagers from rival families. While the Ryusaki family has let go of the past, the Ookami still linger to the hate of past times, and Rie was taught to hate Unkei, since she was very young. Yet, her hatred was concentrated solemnly on combat and competition in general. It’s not too rare to see the two in confrontations, and they fight against each other every year on a nation-wide tournment, in which Rie came victorious the year before.
The championship is near once more and Rie doesn’t hide her enthusiasm to win again. Still, a chain of events will change the way she sees and interacts with things and people around her. When the consequences of her actions come knocking, Rie will not be prepared to answer back.

And since we’re talking about trailers, I’ll also be writing small scripts for booktrailers of some of my projects, which I will then produce to the best of my abilities, when the chance arrives. Among them are my novels: “Angel Gabriel“, “Alma“, “V.I.D.A.“, “Through the Glass”, “Dragons and their Sacrifices”, as well as the comics: “Just my Luck” and “Wolf & Dragon”.

WebComic Trailer

Já há algum tempo que pensava fazer uma espécie de book trailer para o webcomic "Garnath e a Bola de Cristal", mas antes de finalizar a banda desenhada, não consegui fazê-lo por falta de disponibilidade.
Agora aqui está!
É a minha primeira experiência a fazer algo do género por isso não é nada de muito especial, mas espero que gostem.
Ilustrações da minha autoria e música de Kevin MacLeod.

Mais tarde talvez faça um post sobre o processo de fazer o webcomic trailer, só por curiosidade. Alguém estaria interessado?

I've been wanting to do a sort of book trailer for the webcomic "Garnath and the Crystal Ball" for a while now, but before finishing the actual comic, I couldn't do it for lack of time. Now here it is!

This is my first time doing something like this so it's nothing special, but I hope you like it.

Ilçlustratiosn are by me and the music is by  Kevin MacLeod. 

Later on, I might do a post about the process of making the webcomic trailer, just for fun. Anyone interested?
